I have the easiest pasta recipe for you that is cooked and served in under 30 minutes!

These noodles are incredibly buttery and creamy, made with only a few simple ingredients, and is easily a family-favourite.

Ingredients you’ll need

Here’s a list of ingredients you’ll need to make this recipe. You can find the recipe card at the bottom of this post for the complete list with their measurements.

  • Uncooked noodles or pasta: I used spaghetti for this recipe, but you can use whichever pasta you prefer.
  • Unsalted butter
  • Mature cheddar cheese: Grated.
  • Dried parsley: You’ll need 1 teaspoon. If using fresh parsley, you’ll want 1 tablespoon.
  • Salt and black pepper: To taste. I usually go for 1/4 teaspoon each.

How to make Buttered Noodles

To make this recipe, simply cook the noodles as instructed on the packet, adding a tablespoon of salt to the pan of water.

Once cooked, drain and return the noodles to the pan.

Add the butter, grated cheese, parsley, salt, and pepper.

Toss until the butter is melted and the noodles are evenly coated.

Divide between plates or bowls and serve immediately.
