How to make Easy Macaroni Cheese

To make this dish, simply cook the macaroni as instructed on the packet, being sure to add 1/4 teaspoon salt to the water. Drain and set aside.

In a large saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Add the flour, salt, pepper, and paprika, and whisk until smooth and combined.

Slowly pour in the milk, whisking continuously until smooth.

Add the yogurt and whisk until smooth and combined.

Cook on medium heat until the mixture has thickened (coats the back of a spoon) – about 3 – 5 minutes. Do not allow to boil.

Reduce the heat to low and gradually add the cheese, whisking until melted and smooth. Add more seasoning at this point, if desired.

Add the cooked macaroni and fold in until completely coated.
