Cook the pasta as instructed on the packet. Drain, reserving 1/4 cup (60ml) of the water, and set aside. While the pasta cooks, melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.

Add the garlic and stir until fragrant - about 1 minute.

Add the cream and bring to the boil. Turn the heat down to low and simmer for 3 minutes until thickened slightly. Remove from the heat.
